Domestic abuse isn’t just physical violence. It can be controlling behaviour, threats, emotional harm, financial control or anything that makes someone feel unsafe at home. Nobody should have to live like that.

In the UK, domestic abuse is a criminal offence. Offenders can face arrest, court action, restraining orders and prison sentences depending on the seriousness of the behaviour.

Here in our area, we’re working every day to protect victims, support families, and hold offenders accountable. We’re increasing patrols, working closely with specialist services, and making sure people know how to get help quickly and safely.
